There is a good chance that lennon wont be fit, the last few games he has been the biggest threat and i think that Clichy never likes facing him. Because of this i will be going for a 2 0 win :barscarf:

I nearly forgot, Spud C**ts

The number of spud related threads on here lately is a measure of just how worried we are about this seasons fixture. And I honestly believe we have reason to be worried.
1. Normally the goalkeeping situation, would weigh heavily in our favour, this time I'm not so sure, with both keepers liable to make a match losing mistake. And if coco plays he unlike Gomez is unlikely to make a match winning save (he can't dine out on that penalty save forever)
2. At the back if Woodgate and King play, then they will undoubtedly be stronger (defensively) than Gallas and Vermalen.
3. In midfield with Palacious and Kranjcar they aren't as creative as us but they are more combative. And as we know our players don't like it up-em
4 In k***ne, crouch and jenas they have 3 players with a nasty habit of scoring against us.
5. I think we will need to score 3 goals to get anything from the game.

I haven't posted this to wind people up, so if you don't agree try to reassure me rather than calling me a tottenumb loving tosser, cos believe me I am very worried.

Fucking getting excited for this one on Saturday. I'm always really up for these swamp-dwelling, inbred, sister-raping, uncle-fucking, dog-molesting cuntwads. I don't buy into all this new "just ignore them, we're above that" mindset. Fuck that. This is our tradition. I hate these c*nts and hope we destroy them.

Really wish I was going... had a fucking ticket too... fucking wives and their "but I'm having surgery" fucking nonsense... :banghead:

COME ON YOU FUUUUUCKING GUUUUNNERS!!!! :barscarf:
I don't think he is ok as he bought me a pint last night most unusual

I would suggest that the number of threads relating to the spuds is due to the magnitude of the game and the passion this game stirs up in the supporters (and hopefully the players).

So...........

1) Although Almunia has been well below his best this season, I'd take him over either of their goalkeepers. Gomez has made vastly more mistakes than Almunia in their respective times in English football. Also Cudicini has a nice habit of letting the ball roll through his legs against us.

2) I think that Woodgate and King are both decent players, give me Gallas and Tommy V though in a like for like contest.

3) Are you seriously suggesting this Tottenham team will come with the intention of 'roughing us up'. They are the least likely side to do that to anyone, except for us probably. Also you have suggested that Kranjcar might be the player to do this to us, I take it you haven't seen him play all that often?!

4) We've got plenty more players that can cause them damage.

5) Although you seem to be basing that on one game, last Sundays, we averge 4.25 goals a game at home in league so far this season. 3 really isn't out the question is it.

Not having a go, just reponding with my opinion to your points!

We owe them for last season, I can not wait for Saturday.

C'mon you Gunners :barscarf: :barscarf:

Glad he's ok. Adam's a great bloke. 8)

Although he did want to buy me a beer in the Guuners before this fixture last year, Sarah... think I bought him one in the end... maybe he had gotten slapped that night too!

I said the goalkeeping situation was a close call so i won't dispute your view on that
On the center half position, I would take a fully fit king and woodgate over willy and tv solely on their defensive qualities
On kranjcar maybe efficient would have been a bettrer choice of word, although in palacious and fat tom, they have 2 players who are far more physical than any of ours, add to that fat tom's freedom to kick all around him without recourse from referees.
On our scoring record 4.25 ave would have given us an excellent 4.25 - 4 win last season
I notice you didn't dispute the 3 players with their nasty habit of scoring against us.
But agree 100% c'mon you gunners :barscarf:
