Diaby out for 3 weeks

It's wrong that we celebrate an injury to one of our own players, but like Almunia earlier in the season, Wenger won't drop a badly performing player until he absolutely has to.

I agree - fucking hell, people forget how many we still have out. Proves to me that this Diaby hatred has all gone far too far for some people

We'll miss him ! Height wise that is. Without him and Bendtner in the side we are even more vulnerable at set pieces than otherwise, as the 88th minute yesterday showed, I'm afraid.

How many other Prem sides have no outfield players more than 6 feet tall ?

What are the odds that this will be the first time ever in the clubs history that the initial diagnosis will be correct and that he will be back available in the projected time window or even sooner   Every fcuking time we have an important player out injured and we are told it is a 3 week injury it generally turns out to be closer to 2 months :banghead: :banghead:

To answer the question at hand I would have to say that it is more of a :barscarf: than a :( I am  to say. With the exception of greedybarndoor and mr nokia himself I have never wished bad luck on any Arsenal player no matter how shit they are and diaby is no exception. It is not his fault that the vision challenged wenger cant see how poor he is in this team  :x

This Diaby bandwagon seems to easy to join and seems to now be a constant theme at home games. Can only see it having a negative effect on the side if when Diaby loses the ball you hear a massive groan, same with Bendtner, maybe it is the new fans we have but it seems to be the majority of the fans.

Hopefully the fans stop with the constant groans of even the mention of his name and leave it to Wenger, the morale seems pretty good now the trouble makers in the dressing room are out and it would be a shame to lose this with a negative atmosphere to a couple of our players!

Why is losing one of the few defensive midfielders (never thought I would consider Diaby a defensive midfielder) a good thing? Yes, Denilson is back and if we are lucky, he will be fit enough to play every game till Diaby recovers but that is unlikely. Denilson will need time to get back into match fitness and we might see him get a few knocks which would then leave our midfield unbalanced.

even though i believe arsène is god, i don't understand him sticking with diaby and i'm pretty happy that diaby is out. i'd like to see more of ramsey, nasri and rosicky, maybe even merida, and diaby was starting all fucking matches.

i'm ashamed to say, but yes, i was actually glad he was injured. i lost my patience with that fella a long time ago, i'd say he's the player i like the least in our team...

I agree, I won't say I was jumping for joy but it was obvious we needed Song and Diaby was useless, as usual. So I think for this game it was something good for the team to control the game.

The irony in it, it's the fact Wenger kept playing Diaby no matter how shit he was game after game .. and because of all those games he played, he's got this injury. I really hope the like of Nasri, Rosicky and Ramsey (who I thought was brillant against the Wolves) can take advantage of it.

don't fear - Denilson is back in training  one cuntslop for another

we have Nasri, Ramsey, Wilshire & Rosicky - but Wenger prefers to play Diaby or Denilson ahead of them - fucking weird

not at all, CM. i believe that even though denilson and diaby are not essiens, both are better defensively (specially denilson) than nasri, ramsey, wilshere and rosicky. even tough there is song behind them, it's important for central midfielders to be more combative then wilshere, and that's why i prefer him as a winger.

having that said, i still prefer rosicky or nasri alongside fabregas, i just don't think that it's weird that he chooses players who are stronger defensively (since offensive power is really NOT an issue right now, is it?)

I'm not convinced that Diaby is better defensively than Nasri, Ramsey and Rosicky.
