Thats how I installed it on my pc...save to desktop first then install!

Maybe computers are a bit advanced for you Chunky? Would you be better off sticking to a Speak & Spell?

I just had a look at the System Requirements for sopcast

To run the SopCast Software, the following requirement is needed:

1. Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows 2000 and Linux.

so i would say its win98.

I suggest you try ppmate, its worth a crack. it states its compatable with win98. make sure you have windows media player 9 or above.

When i tried to download it i got a warning from AVG that it contained a trojan,
then again it also told me that i was downloading from Shangai technologies?
We all seem to be getting different responses.

Don't worry CB there are no trojans in there. AVG can be a bit oversensitive sometimes and tends to read most P2P programs as malicious.

To all others, Sopcast isn't the only stream out there for watching footie. Alternatives are PPLive, PPMate, TVAnts, TVU amongst others. You should all be able to find something that works.
