We were shit in the second half, Blackburn were by far the better team. We could have easily lost the game. The squad looked thin, Bendtner lacks quality, Theo is far from showing the confidence which Arsene has on him, Gallas is out for god knows how long. One more injury and we will have Song playing at centre back. Cant find any positives from the game. Maturity is all about getting the results in such fiesty ties, not just shouting at the opponents and standing up to them when you get kicked.

Blackburn may have controlled the second half, but we certainly showed we were up to the challenge

Didnt we get a result? a points better than nothing. U said earlier we didnt get stuck in, now ur saying we were kicking people - if it wasnt for lehmann we prob would have won. We rattled them and showed we can challenge those northern bully boysGunnerz4life: Up to the challenge how? By kicking people? Or by shouting at the Blackburn players? A point might be a result for you but not for me, specially in a game where we took the lead reasonably early. And when did you hear me say we didnt get stuck in? We rattled them, showed we can challange those northern bullies, fair enough. But we lost composure and let Blackburn into the match big time in the second half. They created a number of chances of which they would have easily scored, we rarely threatened before conceeding the goal and just once after conceeding the goal. Getting stuck in is fine, but we need to win these matches to teach those bullies anything, it was 2 points lost, plain and simple.tomkingsbury wrote:Didnt we get a result? a points better than nothing. Managed to get to the game today. Watching Jens warming up didn't really inspire me with confidence. I think its time for a change. As for Blackburn it was the same old same old.. no wonder they can't fill their ground and are selling season tickets for £299 !! That just about says it all. A dirtier team you'll never see.
I thought we played well under the circumstances and the intimidation that some of our players experienced is a credit to them that they kept their nerve and their tempers. Just how Robbie Savage stayed on the pitch is a mystery to me.
Our team is growing and I think in months gone by we would have lost. The sad thing is Blackburn actually have some good players and could play good football if they tried.
A good turnout from the gooners meant that Blackburn weren't embarrassed by the attendance.

just got in from that northern dump. we would of lost that game last season. we have got more grit and beefed up. rovers just kicked kicked and kicked. we were not allowed to play our normal game. as for savage from the 40th second when he shoved clichy onto the advertising boards when the ball was a yard out of play. he commited over 10 fouls with no attempt to play the ball. i would love to c a player take him out big time and break both his fucking legs. he is the most talentless player in the history of football. sagna looks a class act. flamini gives as much as he gets. jens as gutted as i am. he has saved us in the past. plentyof positives to take so far. 2 points above utd with game in hand. KEEP THE FAITH.
