Re: club level...

Post by legend10 »
believe it or not, the club level season ticket does not guarantee cup final tickets. the corporate boxes - yes. so that's 2,000 out of the equation, but not the 7,000 club level platinum members.

i think the club will decide on something like two thirds of the avaialble tickets being allocated in the same was as Paris - on away credits, and the remainder will go into a ballot.

Having said that. can anyone actually see us making a Cup final this season? The odds are long... :(
I MUST HAVE READ IT WRONG THE MATE , SHAME I THREW OUT ALL THE CRAP THEY SENT ME ABOUT CLUB LEVEL ,IF YOU STILL HAVE YOURS PLEASE READ IT AGAIN JUST TO MAKE SURE

BUT I BET THEY GET SECOND CHOICE(BEHIND EXEC HOLDERS) ANYWAY MATE , THAT IS WHY THEY ARE CALLED PLATINUM MEMBERS ,US ARE JUST GOLD MEMBERS.
IF THEY DO IT THE SAME WAY AS PARIS WHICH IS FAIR I MY OPINION THEN PEOPLE WHO PUT THE EFFORT IN HOME AND AWAY SHOULD BE REWARDED WITH FIRST CHOICE

Club level final ticket priority?

Post by gooner.ed »

I haven't seen the club level stuff you refer to as i didn't state an interest.

however, my source of info is the AISA ticketing policy group, that includes a representative from the box office. this info about platinum members not being given any priority above gold members was relayed to me less than a fortnight ago.

i can see why club level people might feel p*ssed off at paying out all that money and not being guaranteed a cup final ticket, but the hardcore in club level (and there are a number that travel away a lot) will be sorted as the majority of any cup final tickets will be allocated in a similar way to paris - on away credits.

let's just hope this is something we do have to debate come May 2007

Guys, just to clarify, the family of 4, both 'kids' were 18/19. I wouldn't have a pop at young kids and certainly wouldn't be abusive to them.

ON SATURDAY V PORTSMOUTH 2 IN FRONT OF ME WENT OFF FOR THEIR USUAL HALF TIME FACE STUFFING AND NEVER RETURNED FOR THE SECOND HALF

I THINK ITS BRILLIANT THEY MISSED A GREAT A SECOND HALF COMING FROM 2 DOWN, I JUST WISH WE HAD GOT A WINNER SO THEY WOULD HAVE MISSED A GREAT COMEBACK

HERE IS A RUN DOWN OF WHAT THEY DO EVERY GAME

1. FIRST HALF- TURN UP 5 MINUTES LATE , EAT 2 PIES
2.LEAVE 5 EARLY BEFORE HALF TIME
3.SECOND HALF- RETURN 10 MINUTES INTO SECOND HALF
4. LEAVE 10 MIUTES EARLY FROM THE END OF THE MATCH
5 DURING THE GAME- SIT THERE EATING PIES NEVER SING AND MOAN AT EVERYTHING.

I WONDER WHY SOME PEOPLE BOTHER COMING

Quite frankly its a fucking disgrace!

Watching the game later on Match of the Day, did you see how embarassing all those empty seats looked as the free kick was taken for pompeys 1st goal before half time? Watching the highlights down the pub, I had people ask me why there are empty seats and asking do we struggle to fill our new ground! I had to embarassingly explain that some of our supporters would rather leave early to stuff their faces than support or even watch their own team play!

THESE PEOPLE ARE A FUCKING EMBARASSMENT AND SHOULD GIVE THEIR TICKETS UP TO SUPPORTERS WHO WOULD ACTUALLY STAY & SUPPORT THE ARSENAL RATHER THAN WORRY ABOUT THE QUEUES FOR FOOD!!!!

This buisness of 'fans' leaving before half time/full time is now becoming a total embarrassment to our club. It was even a talking point on talksport on saturday night, Ray Houghton was talking about premiership attendances dropping and was saying that even Arsenal are struggling to fill our new ground, and if he had only seen the highlights who could blame him. I was cringing whilst watching match of the day when Portmouth scored that first goal, the f###ing ground was empty, if i was still on the waiting list for a ticket i'd be f###ing livid watching that.(more than now) Something has got to be f###ing done, are these twats so f###ing greedy that they can't go 90 mins without shovelling pies down their fat arsed necks. F##k the food, f##k the beer at half time, stop serving 10 mins before kick off and don't open 'till 10 mins after full time and if these pie munching anti-fans don't like it then they can give there ticket to someone who's prepared to go an hour and a half without eating or drinking !!!!!!

Well said 'goonermc'

SOMETHING HAS TO BE DONE QUICKLY BECAUSE THESE PEOPLE ARE GIVING ARSENAL SUPPORTERS A POOR REPUTATION,

ITS LIKE THE REAL SUPPORTERS VS THE PIE MUNCHERS, LIKE US AGAINST THEM, WE SHOULD BE UNITED AS ONE, SUPPORT YOUR FUCKING TEAM FOR THE 'FULL' 90 MINUTES!!!

I lent my season tickets for the blacburn game to my sister and her husband (both arsenal fans ) so imagine my shock and theirs when i phoned after the final whistle to see if they had enjoyed our 6-2 whooping of the rovers to be met by the answer " your shitting me we left at 4-2 " aaarrgghhhhhh i could have killed them both

It is totally embarassing seeing an almost half empty stadium at full time and only about 30 odd thousand fans applauding the team after a win.

...but can I have some comments on this issue - On a typical matchday Saturday - there is a huge shortage of parking around Holloway, Cally Road, Hornsey Road and only those that know the area would know where to park (past Michael Sobell Sports Centre!!!). Also, Holloway Road tube is shut an hour after the game ends. You have two choices, Arsenal or Finsbury Park...and im sure many of you who attende Highbury saw how much of a queue Finsbury Park would have with 38,000 fans (but how many of you knew there was another entrance at the other end of the station front??? hehehe).

You think this has anything to do with leaving early - although it doesnt pose an excuse for early halftime leavers.

Also, is it me or does it seem like the block to the left of team dugouts (if your facing the dugouts) always empties first.

No excuses for this kind of behaviour... I find myself getting so angry in anticipation of the early leavers, etc that it is starting to ruin my enjoyment a bit.

Well it seems like people like their pie and beer so much that the club should make more bars inside the stands. Its ridiculous that so many people cant go a couple of hours without a beer!

Im not defending this problem but trying to find a solution. I cant understand those people who buy a valuable Arsenal ticket for the match and spend most of the second half watching it on the TV screens inside. GO TO THE PUB AND GIVE YOUR TICKET TO A REAL FAN!!

Has anyone noticed if its the same at European matches where there is no alcohol served??

They should get people walking through the crowd selling stuff like in america.
when I was at Yankee stadium they bought everything into the stand. Beer, hotdogs everything.
No one had to leave their seats.
I know this will never ever happen at Arsenal but I thought I'd suggest it anyway
