As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Play through the pain, we're down to bare bones./
We prefer horse after birth Digger.
Rumour has it that Theo is off to Romania to have some dolphin spunk rubbed into his leg tomorrow!

radford asks "was it not the same when gary lewin was there and he was the best"
he also asks why would you blame the coaching and medical staff when a player gets injured? frankly bizzare
With Walcott, you really get the impression that because Wenger has invested so much of his time and the Club's money into him, he can't be allowed to be seen to have failed.
There have been other duff signings in days of yore. Take Peter Marinello - for example - a favouite of mine from the 70s - who was the 'Scottish George Best' - he wasn't but there you go.
But if we had invested a quarter of the time and effort in Peter, that we now do in Walcott, we would have seen a far better player.
It's an indication of how the modern Prem' slants and perverts the game to it's own agenda. Or at least the agenda of it's main protagonists - in this case AW.
