Ha ha... I remember having this conversation with you last year, you're just like me..... I fucking hate Christmas with a passion, except this year, (last year don't count he was too young) my son, is 18 months..... I'm looking forward to this part (him going crazy with the wrapper and boxes, but the best bit about Christmas prior to this, was getting time off bleeding work....

Was never the biggest fan of Xmas before I had kids but with my kids (a 4 year old and a 5 year old) it is just brilliant. They get so excited about it that it's just infectious (and not infectious in a Spudslop kind of way!) :barscarf:

Yep - your whole perspective on almost everything changes when you have muppets, mate!

Here's where I go off on my new rant about the bloody streets not being safe enough for families with gangs of hoodies and the price of raising a family and the bloody foreigners taking all the jobs I didn't want in the first place etc etc... :blah: :blah: :blah:

I have always loved christmas, even before my littlun came along. It was always a time for partying.
I used to love coming home for christmas, when I worked in England in the 80's. I was in the pub from lunchtime everyday.
One year I had unused holidays to take, and was lucky enough to spend 17 consecutive days getting pissed.
When I went back to England, I had awful dts for about 3 nights, waking up in a sweat thinking there were rats crawling on my bed, great times indeed, yes I love Christmas
