As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

if he doesn't make it at arsenal, just like the other ones you are referring to, he'll at least be sold for a higher price, bringing us profits to help us pay for our stadium debt and hopefully sign someone in the future
complain if you wish about us not signing experienced players (and i'll agree with you), but using this emoticon because we signed a promising player is stupid and nonsense.
and what about Zezinho?
He's already playing a lot in first team .. he seems like a good left winger.
You are all doom and gloom merchants, this deal has obviously been in the reckoning for a long time, he's been here on trial, and he is one of the most exciting and sought after prospects in world football and he's chose to sign for us.
Obviously we'd all like to sign a first team addition but this is quite clearly NOT a first team addition. There is plenty of time for that.

My thoughts exactly. As much as we need to sign some experienced players, would posters on here wait until he is a superstar and we have to pay £30 million for the same player.
These players used to only end up in one Country, Spain, and now we have the opportunity to start attracting talent from a country that has been producing some of the most talented footballers for decades, can't wait

zezinho is not as talented as wellington imo. and, like wellington, he looks a little lightweight for england, but i guess that can be worked out in the gym anyways. both are excelent prospects, if you make a list of the 20 most talented kids in brazil between 16-18 i'd guess both would be there.
but anyway, it's not a good deal to sign cheap youngsters to play in the carling cup. they end up becoming van persies and cesc fabregas and others that we sell for good profit, so you can obviously see that is not worth it
again guys, direct you anger to the fact that we don't sign enough experienced players. i'll agree with you. signing good prospects on the other hand is NOT the wrong thing to do, as it usually pays off. you keep the likes of fabregas and sell the likes of bentley - it's good anyways.

Hate keane BUT hes a goalscorer.
There's no chance on Keane but I wouldn't rule the Ruskie out. Stranger things have happened. And if it's him or no one, then I'll take him. Although I'd prefer Huntelaar.
