Starting at the bottom of the Prem (Another Almunia thread!)

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

And another thing, I cant understnd how anyone has put Brian Jemsen as a poor GK. He's a very good 'keeper and was instrumental in their promotion push.

He may be a tad slow now however his shot stoping is secong to none, and his all round game is very good.

I cant understand how Sorensen is ahead of his in the Danish pecking order but I suppose Sorensen is an experienced international and has some pedigree although imo he would be 19 on my list of First Choice EPL Gk's. Tony Pulis rarely gets it wrong and it's hardly surprising he was on the case for another GK.

Really? Jensen's decision making seems rather erratic, not sure on his distribution and hasn't he tended to struggle to keep his place in the past?

If asked to compare Almunia last season to this season's keepers:

19) Myhill

18 ) Jensen

17) Hamnen

14) Kirkland (injuries seem to have taken their toll on him)

13) Gordon

10) Robinson

This season's Almunia?

Myhill and Jensen possibly, about as far as I could go
