As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

He could pass the ball 40 yards to feet and 30 seconds later break someone's leg and only get a yellow. Loved him as a player (probably my favourite non Arsenal player then) hated him for winning so much.
Hmmm.. strange that.... I thought he was a right dirty *word censored* and hated him, and also wished him dead several times when he played against us in the 70's and 80's..... I've mellowed now, and glad he hasn't.(died) Strange how opinions and views change over the years.
He has been on irish tv the last while.Irish pundits seem to be more harsh on players and say what they mean unlike on sky itv and bbc (they cant piss off the players and stuff as most of them know each other or just dont want to rock the boat).maybe this is rubbing off on him.

He was a dirty *word censored*, but was also v skilful. I think of him in the same way I now think of Rooney. Can't stand the bloke but think he's a great player.
IU4GN, no I'm not Daddy! I must have been doing my one fingered typing while you were posting. Not sensible to try and post after that much booze really.

he has improved as a pundit since been on irish tv, all them arguements with brady and dunphy must have helped as he is now not afraid to say what he means unlike most of them on sky-bbc
and a great player in his day, dirty bastard but a great man to have on your team.
His best comment last night was when he said about Howard Webb "he LOOKS liks a referee". Classis putdown that.
It always makes me laugh when Sky are showing Champions League matches with Gullit, Souness and Redknapp in the studio. The captions are great - Ruud Gullit - Twice World Player of the Year, Graeme Souness - 3 time European Cup winner, Jamie Redkanpp - blank.
