I noticed that also. The huddle was there before and its back now with SOL! Sol may not have had the greatest game last night but he keeps the players going! Also I must say although Almunia is a liability, I sit to the side of the goal and I am starting to notice that he is learning to boss the defense about a bit more!
Personally I feel that AW must be given where credit is due. He has taken an awful lot of stick on this site and from the media. But he has maintained his dignity and held his head up high. His faith in his players has been unwavering and little by little he is being proven right. Eboue, Walcott, Nasri, Rosciky, Bendtner, Song, Diaby, Clichy, Sagna, Vermaelin, Gallas, Alumnia and even Arshavin have all been brutalised by our esteemed posters. I am not sure that we will win a trophy but we have gone further than I thought we would and it's simply a great feeling to be in the running for both the Cl and the PL, all of the pundits on here and in the media had us written off before the season even started and have reveled in every downturn that has occurred. I am not blind to the fact that we need a stronger spine and with Gallas, Campbell and Silvestre as Vermaelin's partners it's obvious that we are the most vulnerable at CB and of course none of us are happy with our current batch of goalkeepers. Our vulnerability in these two positions may yet prove to be our downfall, and AW owns that fact. Cheers and on to Hell oops! I meant Hull.
One of the differences is the team spirit, however the biggest difference is without doubt the lack of consistency from the teams above us.
And anyone who doubts that only has to look at what we still require in order to win the league, and that is for the two teams above us to fuck up in the run-in.
