Glad we didn't buy him - it would have been him that got on to Ljungbergs rebound at Old Trafford!

It was late 2002 as far as I remember - October or November. We didnt really need him imo as we had Lauren and Luzhny. But we were strongly linked with another RB Trabelsi...coming to that Summer (of '03).

Oh, if we were linked with him, he would not have played. Ralph was awesome, needless to say, and there was nothing better than having that Ukranian Horse for back up!

I like Oleg - stood out a reallly good players for Kyiv and I was delighted when I heard we signed him - he did a good job for us imo.

Maybe I worded that wrong. I liked him too. I was just laughing at the fact that Carr would probably not have got into the team.

Oleg is a great guy, and a good footballer too. And yeah, I remember him scaring that shit out of me when he played for Kiev!
