I will say two CBs if Gallas leaves but if Wenger thinks Norvedit is ready to step up to the first team then just one world class CB.PI7ES wrote:Agreerigsby wrote:I'ld keep Sol btw, he's a very good club man.
I wouldn't sign Melo, he looked god awful against Fulham.
We need a Keeper, 2 CBs and a DM. (excluding Chamakah)
I want us to sign a keeper aswell but its just that when Wenger puts faith in players then its very hard to shake it and he has tremendous faith in Fabianski. HE is a fantastic shot stopper but does fumble and lets in very stupid goals which if he can improve upon then we will have a very good keeper on our hand
DM player maybe one who can play in the CM role and A DM role will be someone who I will go for more like Veleso or a Melo

I like Fellani a lot but isnt too injury prone and someone brought up a very good point on Hangeand. He is very slow and we play a very high line which will mean long balls being played behind him and him become very uselessBlock91Broox wrote:GK : Manuel Neuer £12m
CB : Brede Hangeland £10m
CM: Maroane Fellaini £15m
AM: Edin Hazard £8m
CF: Marouane Chamakh £Free
Neur I love and will love to see him at us same for Hazard alhtough I will say he's more of a replacement for Arshavin
Noredvit has played DM in every game whilst on loan, not sure he is going to be good enough to play CB in the prem.
We need 4 CB's in the squad atm signed up for next season we have 2 at a push, that depends on how djourou recovers from not playing for a year. We need 2 more even if gallas signs in my opinion.

No, Diggers right. Whatever the kitty is includes the contract of the deals. It's the way Arsenal report then. So this also applies to renegotiations.Jason_arsenal2010 wrote:Chamak 90K not it will be more like 50-70K not more than that and a 45 Million transfer kitting doesn't include wages I think since you pay them weekly with the revenues you make from matchdays, shirt sales and so ondigger wrote:You've all forgotten.... a £45m "kitty" at Arsenal includes transfers.
Chamakh is therefore not free. He'll probably get 90k per week, and a 3 year deal = £15m.
I'd like us to sign a keeper... We were linked with Sebastian Frey (£15m transfer fee, plus 3 years @ 60k = £10m)
That's £40m already
Can't see it mentioned so Where's this figure £45M from? is there a link or what?
Regarding Chamak I don't think he's 100% free (£0). Liverpool pulled out as he wanted a signing on fee which was £4M (?). So I wouldn't be surprised to hear if this was the case. Wenger would live with that!

Norvedit was signed as a CB and he has been awfull in his loan spell by any standards and I think Djourou will be fine but I think he's very slow and needs to increase his speedPI7ES wrote:Noredvit has played DM in every game whilst on loan, not sure he is going to be good enough to play CB in the prem.

If gallas leaves
then Djourou, Vermaelen, ? world class CB, Norvedit, Stefan Savic and keep Sol as backup

Rossi is too far away for me I think but Veleso is not just being looked at by Villa but also United and Inter and Lisbon have very good relations with United so I doubt if they really want him then we can get himthatgooner wrote:Veleso, we surely could get, he's been linked with Aston Villa.
To add another name to the hat... Danielle de Rossi, bit of a beast, but Roma are looking like the team to be at in italy, so i cant imagine he'd leave.
I think Melo is the real deal and what he did at Florentina is being overshadowed with what's happening in JUve

isn't rafael playing for united even though he's just 19 and we will have Sol if Wengers not ready to take the risk with SavicPI7ES wrote:Would you be happy with a totall unknown savic coming in for a injured player at old trafford?
No me either, we must have 4 proven quality CB's all the other top four sides do.

Chamakh made it clear of his intent to play for us, more than any player I have seenBoomer wrote:No, Diggers right. Whatever the kitty is includes the contract of the deals. For example, Ribery is about to run down his contract with Bayern on my football manager, he requests £150,000-£170,000 and a £4.9mill signing on fee. Unlike Arsene I have let go of some deadwood to be prepared for negotiaitions like this and I will get my man hopefully for £125,000 or less
