Only game that we have picked up points that were a little bit unexpected is Liverpool away which we we outclassed and should of been 3 nil down at halftime.

We have a team of bottlers, we have no heart, no leaders. Its all well and good diaby dominating wigans defense, or nasri having a blinder against hull but when it comes to a important game they all go missing.

Wenger always gets his tactics wrong in the big games to, he doesnt focus enough on the other teams strengths and thinks that we can play our normal attacking game and beat everyone. Doesnt work like that Arsene teams work us out.

Fucking devastated :banghead:
OI..You mention Diaby and Nasri..THATS FINE..I think ya right..but when i say sagna is a c**t you denegrate me.
HE PLAYED THEM ONSIDE FOR THE SECOND GOAL.

FACT!.........my opinion is NO differentb from yours fella..SOOOOO dont give it the fucking biggun on MY threrad
You really are a clown, you are comparing sagna, who is probably rated by most fans as the best right back in the prmiership, the french fullback with denilson and diaby.

You want to sell sagna because he played a player onside?

Stick to posting wierd pictures because you know fuck all about football.

Thought Diaby was poor (again!) tonight....but I'd still lay the blame for the 2nd goal on Silvestre! I really cannot understand why Arsene persists with him. Surely there is someone in the reserves, youth or ladies team that could fill in when we're short. He is a fucking liability. Still, he'll be gone soon thank fuck!!

Please say that Sol gets offered another year. Thought he was immense tonight as he has been in every game I've seen! I seriously think that he could yet make it into the England squad....!
Knowing Wenger he'll probably offer his French buddy Silvestre a fresh 6 year contract and show Sol the door.

Thought you weren't going to apologise until tomorrow.... !

Look, lets put this into perspective. We had to lose to Spurs eventually so thank god it was in a game that ultimately won't matter to either club. We weren't going to win the premier league even if we'd won tonight and Spurs certainly won't be finishing fourth. Champions League....? They really are having a laugh!!

I hope every player stays - except Silvestre - and are joined by Chamack....and I hope beyond hope that next season we can avoid the injuries that have plagued us this year!!

PS ......at no stage tonight did I think we made Spurs look good. I thought they were crap and Chelsea and Man City must be laughing!! Talk about parking the bus....

Sorry to repeat the same theme on the Sagna thread, but when you play the same 'devil may care' approach and 4-3-3 in the Nou Camp, Old Trafford and Stamford Bridge, to that employed at home to Burnley, Wolves and Stoke.....is it any wonder.

He has stuck with a system of using wide midfielders with no defensive quality in big games leaving Sagna, Clichy or whichever poor unfortunate soul is playing there with an impossible task.

Nani, Messi, Wright Phillips, the loathsome Cashley, Bale.....they've all benefitted from being able to double up on one of our poor full backs and play out of their skins. Watch the goals conceded at Eastlands, at home to the Chavs and Mancs and over in Barca.

More pathetic defensive co-ordination and laissez-faire from the so called "Professor"

Pointless thread which I didn't read beyond the first post.

However:

We beat Spurs at home 3 - 0
We beat Celtic home and away (yes they were "big" games, we wouldn't have had CL football without them)
We beat Liverpool home and away
We beat Porto from an impossible position in the CL

Personally I'd ban our players from speaking on ArsenalTV in the days leading up to a big game.

There seems to have been an increase in the last two years of our players yakking on about "I'm gonna do this", "we're gonna do that", "we've grown up", "we've matured" blah blah blah. Then they step onto the pitch and do fuck all.

same old rubbish - sagna can't cross a ball to save his life - ok, now and then he puts a good one in, like the bendter goal vs wolves (where we overcame a rampant wolves side in the um 95th minute to record an awesome 1-0 win) but can we have a reality check please.
sack the manager - that's it - then we can be shot of the little kid denilson, the little kid clichy, the crap goalie, the little winger guy with the diamond earrings and the pink boots, etc etc etc-effing-cetera
SACK THE MOANING NEARLY MAN AND CHANGE THINGS AT THE ARSENAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes ! I don't get the TV but I read the headlines. Walcott is Number 1 at this and others are not far behind.

A lesson in football from DB10 or TH14 was always acceptable but Almunia and Walcott to name but 2, have done NOTHING to justify any kind of acclamation.

add clichy to that...

"we need to show our character"
"this is a huge game for us, but we have the mental strength.."
blah blah - and where does it come from? the desperate nearly man, desperately trying to talk The Arsenal into success...wenger, thankyou and goodbye...
