i download everything and have never got a virus or had a problem i got a hdmi connection so i then hook the computer to the tv and watch ll the new releases

we have 4 mp3/mp4s in the house and i have filled all them up with music from these sites :barscarf:
Same.
However, try Vuze. http://www.vuze.com/
It's a P2P client and you can search most of the main torrent files from one place. Even will play your files but personally I still use VLC at home.

Flash, Torrents are safe as there regular files so any virus would be picked up by your virus checker. However, in the years I've used this I've never encountered one as the community is safe.

Also if you have an Ipod, PSP & PS3 it will sync the files for you. Even better the PS3 will recognise Vuze (& vice versa) so direct from your PC/Laptop you can watch your movie streamed across to your PS3! 8) :-P

btjunkie scramble,s your ip so it doesnt get tracked, the only time i ever got a virus was from limewire and i never used it again.
Not 100% sure on this but Limewire isn't a torrent file like the others. It's a direct file usually on an open network so hence why it's riddled with Viruses.

The films I download are all torrent files, but its Limewire that my daughter uses for the music....think that's where the blame lies for our viruses.

PS Fucking useless McAfee that let the viruses get throuigh in the first place....

I buy a yearly cinema pass and go usually twice a week. Never ever download or buy moody films. Buy heaps of DVDs and have just started getting Blu Rays too, although they're so pricey I don't get too many just yet.

I do download music but only of artist's that I'm not sure I like, so download. If I do end up liking them I'll often buy the cd, and will always go to see them live, so what they lose in me not buying the cd originally they more than make up if they're any good.

So the general gist of this thread is that if you try to get something for free there is a high chance you could end up with a virus? A bit like casual sex, if you keep bringing random birds home with you eventually you're gonna get a nasty itch.

So my question is this,

Why is prostitution so heavily frowned upon?

Much like HMV if you pay for it this way chances are lower you get a virus right? Let's face it the girls keep themselves clean, get checked up regularly and make sure protection is used. :?

Not since I was 19 and on holiday in Magaluf with friends.

Any other rumours/stories are totally untrue and without fact!

Edit:

I have just read what this thread is about and no I don't pay for films and music either!

Mano's is an old haunt of ours!

I had been in there four nights on the trot before I realised there is two sides to it and wondered why it was quiet in the bit I was in.

Everyone else was in the other side.

I was standing at the bar for half hour wondering why the bar was on the other side of the room the night before and how the toilets had moved!

:drunk: :banghead:

I'll normally download stuff using bittorrent. Its quick and easy. However, if an album/series/film comes out which is quality, I'll go and buy it.

Recent example - I downloaded and watched The Wire and was hooked so I went to buy all the other series.

All the series are on tv shack.

Pay.

Downloading music films etc is ripping someone off.
