GOD! I remember that!

Sure that was Football manager and not Championship manager?

[Edit]I've remembered now.
It was the original football manager game completely separate to the Champman to FM games now. (Despite the same name)

Sadly, not.
Back then it was safe to 'play out'.

I moved on to my first console by the late 80's. A Sega Mastersystem! However, that didn't last too long as moved onto an Amiga.
Suppose I've always been a PC gamer at heart.

I was talking to someone about that the other day. I used to play out for hours and always felt safe. Im not sure its worse now but people/parents are more jumpy about it, i know i will be when my daughter gets older
