Have you read online Ed's article....where he quotes Wenger from a few years back about buying youngsters because it would be an 'interesting experiment'?
Well folks, the truth is about to hit home to most. I fully expect us to sell Fab for an un-dislcosed fee (for now) and it will be equal to or less than 35m. Wenger will spend money, but it will be on Frenchmen/Africans and he won't spend 50m which he will obviously have available (or more). If we sign Gourcuff it would be a great signing but ultimately, any single player we sign as a replacement for Fab will not be good enough, because he is in the top 3 in the world and we won't sign one of the other two. Unfortunately I have just renewed my ST, but I guarantee if Wenger doesn't sort this squad out with at least 4 quality signings this summer then that's it for me, for ever. I'm not willing to be taken for a mug by Arsene Wenger and this Arsenal board any longer. Thanks Wenger, you're the reason Fab wants to leave because you made him play with shit for so long you stubborn idiot, please go for the sake of the Arsenal.

There will be no backlash as we as a group of fans are spinless losers who except what is happening to our club!

We are like this because underneth it all we just want the team to win and for us to be great again! THIS WILL NOT HAPPEN ANY TIME SOON!

We as a club and a group of fans have had to put up with our best players leaving for 10 years now so we should be used to it! that's what Wenger does! Sometimes it works Overmars, Petit! Sometimes it doesn't Henry,Vieria, Hleb, Flamini! i would even go as far as saying Adebayor and Kolo! if they were in our squad this year i have no doubts that we would not have finished so bADLY! So now it comes to Cesc! I don't blame the player at all if i was as good as him and had to play with Denilson, Diaby, Nasri, Walcott, Bendtner etc!! i would fucking leave considering we haven't made a positive signing in god knows how long!! So what happens next? Europa League, having Yido's gloat all the fucking time!! and still no fucking news from the club!!

We are in the shit and will comtinue to be so for the near future!

Backlash i doubt! depressed acceptance more like it!!!

The fact id he has gone now and i think he wont be the last this transfer window! As if Arsenal are willing to sell their Best player and captain then the rest of the clubs with big money will come knocking! So bye Gael, Tommy, Andrey and Robin! it was fun while it lasted! :(

So it's being reported, barca won't go any higher than 30mil. Are they serious?! If kaka can go to real for 60 mil and david villa is going to barca for 40, how the hell is cesc only worth 30? I know these all play in different positions but come on arsenal if we don't at least get 40 to 45 mil for him then something is seriously wrong with the negotiators at this club. As for cesc what can I say? I'm absolutely gutted and genuinely upset that he's basically been forced to leave us to find the success he deserves elsewhere. Thanks for everything cesc you were in my eyes a true arsenal legend!

kingjayson1 wrote:The problem is this; one of the clearest ways to show resentment to whats going on is not renewing our ST but mine took about 8 years to get hold of so not renewing it would be a waste of 8 years IMO or silvers/reds not buying but the club have a nice tourist base for those empty seats.
Then we need to explore other options perhaps. I don't like not renewing(not that I'm a season ticket holder) or boycotting matches because come hell or high water when Arsenal take the pitch I'll be behind them no matter what I may think before or afterwards. I love this club too much to consider that sort of option. Plus I understand fully your reluctance to give up something that meant enough to you to wait that long for it. Your timing however is pretty piss poor

Really there has to be other options - not purchasing mew merchandise or DVDs maybe or wearing protest message shirts . Maybe we could boycott the Emirates Cup -they only in front of a few thousand at most in Austria so I'm not sure it would faze the team as much as it would draw attention to our discontent.

I wonder if the Board withheld information about players leaving until season ticket renewals were completed and'or banked away - could that be considered defrauding supporters - a legal option maybe...any barristers on here who might know more on this?

Clutching at straws myself a bit here...But I'm sure there are options here that can get SOME attention

Last season was my first so tell me about it, thought I was on to something good :banghead:

Again with boycotting it is the tourists and day trippers who make these sales up. I didn't go into the Armoury once this season or buy a shirt, and I am sure many other ST holders didn't either.

It needs to be more direct like the banner @ the Fulham game, Its getting a bit much now, the board are just sitting around doing jack.

Banners are good but we need something a bit more noticable I suspect.

I like boycotting the Emirates Cup. Onluy problem is if the seats have been bought and the Board has the money they won't care TOO much. However if its organized and gets some real media attention it might have an impact in that the media(which hasn't been nearly curious enough for my money. If Arsenal was in New York City - the club's finances and business policies would have been investigated several times over by now by either fans or the media..

Its a shame its come to this really. Hard to fathom this back in 2004 really.

Even if he left for £25m, the rosetinters would still focus on the fact that he was bought for pennies and left for billions. And as a result, AW still knows.

Wasn't there a banner up at the Fulham game? Sure I saw a picture of it somewhere. Trouble is I was at the game and didn't even notice it - was far too small. We need something on a grander scale to attract media attention.

Hi, rosetinter here and believe me I don't think that.

My opinion is this, Kaka cost Madrid £56 Million and is what, 5 years older than Cesc.
So Cesc has, in effect 5 more years to be effective than Kaka does (Contract is irrelevant as we know when Cesc joins Barca, he won't leave).

So if he has 5 years longer to be effective and Kaka cost cica £9 million per year, then we should add £45 million on to the transfer fee of Kaka.

Bingo, Bango £101 Million gets you Cesc.

As I know there is more chance of Lord Lucan playing in net next year, I don't see how we should be demanding any less than £70 million

RedAction will have their banners out

"Real fans have Real patience"

and everyone will have any anti Wenger banners removed. Also you have to remember all the Rosetinters will still think the sun shines out of Wengers arse :awnker:

Fan backlash dont make me laugh
