As the report suggests he's Nigeria's preodminant industrialist for the last 4 decades.
This is a serious businessman. No flies on him.

Yet, folks would rather have an investor with a far more dubious past.
And you betray yourselves by saying: "Excuse the racial stereotypes...", just be honest and say you're highlighting a racial stereotype.
More laughable is your definition of majority.

Look back, and revise your statement.

definitly no history of corruption or even just a bit of blood on his hands then
There's corruption everywhere. How much he's done we don't know. You haven't even provided any evidence of such activity.
But your ignorance gets the better of you.

What we do know is that he's a serious businessman and shouldn't be laughed out of town.

Because you have been very quick to dismiss a proven businessman based on the rumours from a discredited embassy employee thats why  Has nigeria, as a business community, got a record that is any cleaner than russia ? I dont think so yet you have taken a view to oppose this guy anyway which totally smacks of inconsistancy......either you are open minded about all proven business people or you are not but dont pick and choose based on morality

Nigerian Student Fraud.....

Scam emails from Nigeria.....

The Nigerian I used to work with who got sacked for "amending" his exam results....

A country seemingly always teetering on the edge of civil war.....

I know nothing about this guy......but any mention of Nigeria would make me walk away!

On the other hand. He would have to undergo the FA's Fit and Proper Persons test so that would ensure that there is nothing shady about him.... !

serious businessman...Gaydamak, son of Arkady..convicted criminal,...bank roller of Sacha(allegedly)...former owner of portsmouth Fc

serious businessman and oligarch....Abramowich...owner of former national industries....ownership gained through seriously dubious ripping of russian publi and dodgy backhander(allegedly)...present owner of CSKA London

serious businessman and now billionaire(allegedly)...Al-Fayed...proferrer of brown envelopes to dodgy tories for privilege...questionable(by the City) source of wealth...possible front for other arabian businesmen...owner of Fulham FC

serious manager and tactician(allegedly) ....Twitchy no explanation needed here.

What do they all have in common, more success than we have had in the last 5 years......sounds like we're just joining the club....we'e already got a convicted fraudster(not allegedly) owning over 25% of the club another dodgy owner is hardly going to make a blind bit of difference.

Before anyone says anything about Fulham, they've achieved more with their small squad than we have and the scum have won a trophy more recently than we have, whilst twitchy has given them their best finish for years.

Read McMafia, most online fraud is committed by easter european syndicates especially russian but no big media uproar about that.

Russia is still notoriously corrupt as is India and trying cutting through the beaurocratic corrupt bollocks that goes on in Italy. FFS their prime minister should be a convicted corrupt official but don't see Watchdog doing a piece on it.

Just because the daily Telegraph and the Mail tell you a country is about to sink into civil war doesn't make it true.

I used to work with a Dentist who wanted to pay his nurse to marry his gay lover from Brazil, just to get him residency in London...the dentist was from Cambridge...hope no east anglian decides to buy shares...you might want to walk away from the club.

The first half of your last sentence is the bit you should concentrate on...might be a good idea to find out a bit more about him don't you think...Fear always springs from ignorance

I think that's probably proof enough for me, as to whether Fulham are owned by arabs!!

Egypt is a north African country and not part of Arabia, so Al-Fayed couldn't be an arab unless he also lied about being an Egyptian
