THE WORST PLAYER TO WEAR AN ARSENAL SHIRT!

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I would say silvestre. Denilson has had some great games and scored some great goals, but the minute silvestre is on the pitch you just know things are not gonna end well. Especially at the centre of defence.

Goalkeeper = Fabiankski
Defender = Silvestre
Midfielder = Pennant
Striker = Jeffers

This list here is interesting http://www.insidefutbol.com/2010/01/16/ ... era/15924/ however, dont think Hleb is our 2nd worst signing ever :?

Eboue? I would always remember his role in our run to the CL final. He outshadowed Lauren, and today he's the best cover for RB in the league.

Walcott? I don't like him as a player either, but is he really the worst player to wear an Arsenal shirt. His assist to Greedy vs Liverpool, his brace on THAT they at Brum, etc. I don't think he's anywhere near the levels of our best players of all times, but he's definetly not the worst.

Fumbling Jim Furnell , cult hero but truly hopeless. Flappy has got a long way to get as funny as him.
