Quartz's comparison to a cheap plastic football is pretty accurate...![]()

We're talking about the high spec ball. You will not believe how it moves in the air. One of our lads is a big toe merchant (hits every shot with his big toe, no technique, bit like Fwankdigger wrote:One of my friends bought the low-grade replica (the £25 Jubilani ball) a few months ago. It's absolutely no different to any other modern ball (ie, a decent quality football made in the last 2/3 years). I'm playing in a tournament in a few weeks in which we have the high-grade replica (the £90 version) so I'll pass on my opinion then

Poof.
Fair enough, it should be an experience when I play with the high spec one.DB10GOONER wrote:We're talking about the high spec ball. You will not believe how it moves in the air. He has no idea where it's gonna curl to, but it curls! Hilarious.

I deffo prefer the T90 even though I despise Nike.
Good side though, sorry you missed out. At least it wasnt by the Hand of Thierry though like Republic of Ireland!kingjayson1 wrote:Watch out! Same thing happened in 2006, we lost our last qualifier to Trinidad and Tabago. I'm off out to Bahrain in a couple of weks and was hoping to get to watch us with all the atmosphere and all. Maybe next time.
THBW14 is still a legend though.merson_is_god wrote:Good side though, sorry you missed out. At least it wasnt by the Hand of Thierry though like Republic of Ireland!kingjayson1 wrote:Watch out! The dearest one - ordered through club. Also played with the cheaper replica and there isn't that much of a difference - compared to the T90 etc the adidas ball is poor.northbankbren wrote:am i wrong when i say the proper ball not the expensive replica is £130?
this is the quesion I have in regards to lads who have played with one. Which one have you played with?
Is it the £80 replica that is advertised as the official MATCH ball?
Or the £130ish actual ball that you have to order?
Those £80 ones are not the official ball.
Yeah but it's easier when you are running around with it in your hands... Americans... pah.gusher311 wrote:I played with the new ball and quite liked it. I played with the CL final ball from this year and thought it was similar. I do prefer nike footballs though

Would really like to have a go with one, have had a bounce with the £80 one in shop and thought it would be a bit lighter, but nothing major.DB10GOONER wrote:
