an absolute dream of a day going tingly just thinking about ian wright skinning terry hurlock and getting a hatrick. going to sound old but things were differant then it meant so much more to fans and players alike. the money and the fame has drained the soul out of it...do any of them really give a monkeys these days.
other top north bank memories...
1991 6-1 against cov. Perry Groves headed goal. The roof nearly lifted off.
1988 or so Choccy Mclair skying that penalty.
1986 Charlie Nicholas late goal to beat Man U opening game of the season.
Were you there.. PART 3 Last game on the old North Bank 1992

where did all you north bankers (thats not rhyming slang honest) go the season after? clock end?
the 92/93 season sticks out for me as nipper, funny mural instead of the north bank. Terrible in the league yet won the double (i couldnt work out why we kept playing sheff wed at wembley!
) and morrow breaking his arm/shoulder celebrating!

92/93 was my first season watching Arsenal and my first game was Southampton in March. I remember the mural and the semi final against Spuds at Wembley and the finals against Sheff Weds. Always remember being allowed to stay up at watch the fa cup final replay.
Anyway back to the North Banks final day...why did we not go into Europe the next season for finishing 4th???
