MK Gould wrote:A number of people have come on the forum recently to say they are fed up with increasingly long posts that drone on about the board and its failings...... Well in fairness to the target of the criticism, he is at least writing about Arsenal or about football in general.

However, I've noticed what appear to be an increase in thread hijacking whereby two or more protaganists engage in banter that has precious little to do with either and certainly nothing to do with the thread. Many the time I've arrived late on a multi-page thread only to find that the actual subject was lost/abandoned before I got to the end of page one.

Now by all means use humour. And by all means continue to post provocative pictures....but next time you just want to share an "in-joke" then maybe there are alternative methods...?

Let me guess what's about to happen to this thread.....
Good post.

I feel that if the mods deleted a lot of the "chat" that could be sent via pm, a lot of the threads that are deleted/relegated wouldnt have to be as there would be more space upstairs.

Fuck that.

And that

I say what I want, where I want, and when I want.

But people have to consider why they want to post on a forum, especially this one. I can't imagine many dudes joined up to this place for it's serious football discussions. You can do that shit almost anywhere. The appeal in this place has to be the utter randomness of it. And that's practically halved since I joined.

Almost Quartz, almost.

A little quip about stuffing a forum members head into the vice and turning the handle till an eye popped out, a la Joe Pesci in Casino, and you'd be there my man. 8)

Do you not agree that at times we have pages that are taken up but quote after quote of shite....including me?

The basement is here because apparently upstairs is too busy  , and i reckon if they deleted a lot of the really long quote conversations, it leaves more room for important things like....tits......and........i'll get back to you
