Liverpool Away!

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Went to Anfield for the first time in '91 :oops: been as couple of times since too, nice enough ground but quiet as fuck so dont go there expecting the bullshit the say on TV about the Kop being loud/special :roll:

was quality before everton last year on the opening day and has a chippy on the corner that does a battered burger the size of a frisbee!!!(goes great with a pint)

parking,
i drove last year and parked in stanley park.2minute walk to anfield and loads of spaces and only a fiver.pretty quick to get out and couple of hundred cars so fairly safe(although i took the bosses car and there was a fair bit of glass around the spaces)

BUT,stanley park turns into a diff place when the sun goes down.hoodies with blades everywhere

Just dont sit down, fook me the seats are tight for legroom. Which as many awaytrips you rarely sit anyway. But i enjoy this away day all the same..
