FIFA 08

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

If only there was a way to hack into MSN & grab his email address lol
I was looking up something & the icons website poped up with some players & found Gio's one which he asks people to talk to him :shock:
Ere is the link
http://www.icons.com/GvB/contact.html
Wonder if you added that email if you were speakn to Gio personal, that would be funny as i would go on about his Arsenal days
Someone try it out & see what it's like :mrgreen:

To those of you with FIFA '08;

I grew out of computer games a long time ago, but you still can't beat a good footie game with your mates. You should try the one we (me and my mates) play - take a shot (alcoholic...not as in a strike at goal!) for each goal you concede!

Anyway, the point is that I've always been a Pro Evo man but when I was in the States last year, I played a lot of FIFA because it was all they had. It wasn't half bad. How is the new one to those of you who are more educated on the matter than I? I'm sure I'll end up spunking £40 up the wall for one of them, but I can't decide which...

Sorry just can't do football games!

Seems to me unless you have seven thumbs its impossible to do any of the turns etc! The goalkeeper is always useless and whoever I pick in my team they automatically turn into Ray Wilkins and refuse to do anything apart from pass sideways!

If it doesn't have machine guns and hand grenades then I'm not interested!

Oh apart from Tiger Woods....I like that.

Gus you will be happy to know keepers have been made intelligent in this version of the game due to all new enhanced AI. This also makes your players smarter, and they do make runs etc.

The keeper even comes out for corners if his team is losing in injury time...
