This New York theme bar however is in Spain so I am not sure if this helps?

Sorry, I'm already board!

No boss, No director and no colleague! Which means, apart from those in front of me NO-ONE can see what I'm doing!
Being on here typing makes me look like I'm sending an email or something. 8)

Right, I fortunatley copied Sherlock holmes (the movie) and Shutter Island on to my USB. Not watch them yet so might dip into them later.
Shutter Island is great,
but now: :gettowork:

Get to Nevada Smiths early, it gets crowded.

Buy a few drinks and then line them up on the shelf at the back, because getting to the bar during the game is tough.

Unless of course, you are well practiced with such manouvres from Club Level

Nevada Smiths it is then. I'll definitely get there earlier than 10am though as the game will be over by then....

Yes, Nevada Smith's is the place. 3rd Avenue and 10th Street. See several already on it.

Sorry I won't be in that weekend. Family shit that afternoon. Enjoy it - and New York of course.

Yes....I have occasionally used a search engine  !

I was hoping that one of you might have first hand experience..... Everything I've read seems to point to that Nevada place (for all teams!), but maybe there is somewhere frequented by ex-pat gooners?

Happy to meet up with US Martin - although America is quite....large....and no guarantee that he just happens to live near Times Square! Have to come to agreement though that conversation won't stray towards his feelings on the Board.....
As I said I'm afraid I won't be in that weekend - unless this family party gets cancelled. But I don't discuss those things during matches, Didn't used to discuss them at all during the season. But that was when they didn't seem so permanent or dominant in nature.

If you go do go early. defintiely the best thing to do. New York around 7 AM on Saturday is as close to London as you will get in terms of being dialed down considerably. Very quiet and neat that way. By the time you walk out of Nevada's it will be the New York you know and love again.

MK,

Unfortunately I can't give you any original information, but I can tell you that, since movin out to NY in January, Nevada Smith's is definitely the best place to watch the footie. As QG says, be sure to get there early or you'll be turned away!

Enjoy.
