My girlfriend lived in South Africa for 5 years. If she had that accent she would not be my girlfriend.

Good. The first step is to be a white South African (assuming you are white as I went to Cardiff once for a weekend and didn't see a single black person) and not be a White South African.

Just get Biltong, Boerewors, Mrs. Ball's chutney and Windhoek (never drink Castle) and you should be alright!
