New keeper in January

I hope i never see the c**t again on our pitch
Sadly there is one and he was playing on tuesday. How can a club as big as ours have TWO keepers who would struggle to get into a championship team?.The blame falls at Wengers door.He had 3 months to buy a keeper in the summer and failed.Did he really believe Almunia and Flappy were going to become good keepers all of a sudden? In the space of 4 days we have seen what we all knew They are both not good enough. But MrMagoo(Wenger) thinks there world class.
You are right, its not as if Wenger can drop Almunia because Fabianski is even worse, as you say Wenger had all summer to sign a decent keeper, but as usual tries to do everything on the cheap and we have paid for it big time, Schwarzer isnt the answer, Given however would be a great signing but we all know that wont happen because Wenger will never admit to being wrong and also he is so fucking tight

If I'm been honest, I dont really rate Mannone either from what I've seen of him. When he got his chance last year, bar the game against Fulham, he made quite a few mistakes.

We should give Vito a chance. Can't be worse than the two pricks surely? :?

Don't know which of you were at the game today but Almunia was copping loud booing from a large section to the left of his goal.

He could hear it as he looked over quite a few times - that's gonna f**k up his confidence even more :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Good to hear this.

Hopefully he'll be booed by the entire ground next home game.

I know where you're coming from with this but I can't agree.

Almunia also got a massive cheer when he just picked the ball up at 3-0 down - he heard that as well. Like it or nor he's here til January at least and if his confidence gets any lower, we'll all suffer.

Almunia is way below the standard required but it's Arsene that should be copping the flak. Why the fuck did he pick those 2 arseholes Diaby & Eboue today and why did he take an hour to get them off and get some decent players on?

And why didn't Arsene scream at his under-performing tossers - like he screams at most 4th officials??

Arsene is too powerful and too stubborn to admit when he's wrong.

I bet Arsene had the cheek to go in at FT and say to Al ''well played son, nice work''.

What infuriates me is Wenger's refusal to understand that Goalkeeper is a specialist (and critical) position. You cannot just stick any twat between the sticks and expect to win. But Wenger seems to think you can.

He has simply got to spend whatever it takes to get in a top keeper. A decent goalie is worth 10 or 15 points a season. Seamo was and Rudolf was to the manure filth.
