Met my all time hero twice
Once at Heathow airport before he left going to pre season i think when i never said a word due to the mother shouting out to him AH IT'S IAN WRIGHT & he drops his phone during a call & goes all over the place & afterwards my Dad also shell shocked about it saying for fuck sake look what you've done & sorry Ian etc etc but he was fine & love my photo of him & me despite me being 7 & with my old haircut it has to be one of the best around
The morning of the cup final against the Mancs saw him again at the breakfast buffet but it was really shit despite it being the Grove hotel so i thought i'd get some bacon into some bread to make a lovely sanine but the knifes were only butter & hard to cut it in half my Dad says look who's on the left of you, turn
