I would fancy our usual Carling Cup side against this current Newcastle side. Add to that we appear to be saying quite publically that we are taking it seriously this season....and Newcastle's captain tied up this week with court.....and the fact that they are likely to rest players themselves.

Sending offs and injuries permitting, I fancy us to win up there big time!

Looking at the squad that went to the S*ds I think it might be fairly the same. Maybe not as strong but strong enough.

That was a team which had Nasri, Wilshere & Rosicky starting. With Clichy, Sagna & Chamack and Andrey on the bench.

We won't change the formation like some of the other post (4-4-2). So I'd go for:

____________________Chesney

Eboue_________Djourou______Squid_________Gibbs

____________Denilson_________Rosicky
_____________________Diaby
_____Theo_____________________________Vela
____________________Bendtner

Bench:
Flappy
Sagna
Clichy
Lansbury or Eastmond
Chamack
Cesc
Nasri

You must be delighted that we've finally managed to solve our goal keeping problems without signing a big name keeper. Some would say that the biggest difference between Arsenal and City yesterday was that we had the better keeper..... :-P !

Not me.
Flappy´s performance was good, but I´d prefer Hart as our Nr. 1 keeper :x

Eboue Kos Djourou Gibbs
Lansbury Denilson Diaby
Walcott Bendtner Rosicky

Subs: Fabianski, Squid, Chamakh, AA23, Fabregas, Sagna

Thats probably what I'd go for, i cant see Wenger going any weaker then that.
