West ham game

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Cham, Nasri, Theo, Bender.
BENDTNER.

I expect only rival fans to call him that.
Calm down, big man.

Hopefully we'll stroll this, and worsen West Ham's problems at the same time. I like the sound of that!
The home defeat to west brom really bugs me! We shouldve won that and we cant afford fuck ups like that.
The late equaliser at Sunderland bugs me even more. We dropped 2 points in that game.
West Brom should have been (at least) a draw, they played very well, so we dropped 1 point in that game.

Totally agree. Penalty scored, 3 points in the bag.

3-1 but will be a shiteload harder than the scoreline will reflect. They'll do what they did a few seasons ago and come to park the bus, so to speak.

What? You'd be happy with a point against West Brom at home?
That's why it was so embarrassing is the fact we lost.

With the exception of maybe the Chavs and Man U we should be expected to win all of our home games.
Granted Sunderlands been a tricky place for us the past few seasons so I'd 'accept' a draw but even still we should be beating these teams.
Really should have been 6 points.

Guess that's the difference between title winning sides and teams that finish 3rd or 4th.

We should, I agree with you, but West Brom played very, very well. We should've beat them theoretically like any team below us, but take nothing away from their performance, it was well above their average game.

Most teams that we face tend to up their game against us and the other top teams.
Not taking anything away from West Brom but we were woeful. Most of the players seemed to think the win would came automatically by just turning up.

Yeah, the amount of ball chasing/watching was pretty dire.

Ho hum, I'm still upbeat so far about the season, lots to look forward to.

Same here, when we missed that penalty, I knew they were going to get that equaliser, we always need a minimum of 2 goal cushion, and even that isn't enough someimtes with our defensive system

Something tells me we're going to have a good November for the first time in years and Chelsea are gonna get closed down.
