I went to bed at 7pm, got up at midnight and watched all of the England innings until I had to leave for work at 7am.

It was all going so well until after tea! Siddell's hat trick was cricketing history in the making, though.

As much as I love football, I do honestly think that Test Cricket is the best game in the world.

I didn't get to see any of today's play because I was at work...but I'll be in front of a tv all day tomorrow watching it progress.

It seems to me that English sports fans sound a great deal like Spurs fans.

Too true, its super embarrasing during football world cups.

For what its worth, if we can survive brisbane and adelaide only 1-0 down then i think we can do it.

I love footy and cricket just as much, both great sports, hopefully will have the opportunity in the future to go Down Under for an Ashes test or two!

And England better get Australia out for less than 350 or we're in trouble....  :banghead:

Anyone that thinks cricket is in the same league as football, nedds their balls tested  . They're not even the same sport (hang on, they really aren't   ) :)

Having said that, I quite like cricket, and you've got to take your hat off to Siddel yesterday. I think a lot of it comes from the general "can do" attitude. Hope England can make some inroads today.
