I think it's important that amidst all of the fucking insanity, Jens has been an absolute legend for us. He had some very big shoes to fill when he got here and I think he did it well. His heroics en route to the Champions League final won't be forgotten.

Still, it's time to move on as he clearly has no future at the Club. Good luck with whatever you do next, you mentalist.

Jens won't even be on the bench for the Bolton game  oh very dear, I'm guessing that is for Jens war of words but it worries me.

Aparently he got injured in training but Alumunia was going to be 1st choice anyway.

Hear Hear to those words from TS. Jens has been a legend and while his stock has clearly dropped I still believe that he is better than almunia. What is it with wenger & keepers though ? Everybody acknowledges how important a top keeper is & yet even by our own skinflint standards we buy very cheap. I would always argue that the keeper's position is the only position that you cannot play a guy while waiting for him to mature & yet can we really expect fabinski to mature enough for next season by only getting the odd carling or fa cup game this season ? I think, now it appears that Jens is on his way out, we need to buy a quality stopper ready for the big time now which of course means that we wont buy anybody and will be watching almunia with 1 eye shut for the rest of the season.
Thanks again for everything Jens & I wish you luck on your return to the homeland

It`s time to move Jens. But thank you for saves like the one in the end of the semi-final in CL, and the shoot from Solskjaer in the end of the game against man utd last season. Liked seeing him warming up too :D
All the best to Jens :D

Finally augie a post from yourself that does not have me cringing and waiting for the backlash, not that there is anything wrong with lively debate and opinion, it is still refreshing to read one of your posts and agree wholeheartedly. 8)

According to the Grauniad this morning, ie before this latest madness, AW said "Jens Lehmann the goalkeeper would return to the bench."

I'll believe it when I see it. to the tune of H-A-P-P-Y

he's madder than a box of frogs
he's madder than a box of frogs
his name is Jens
he's got no friends
he's madder than a box of frogs

What Lehmann is doing is talking himself into a january transfer. He needs first team football if he is too be Germany"s number 1 next summer. The longer Wenger doesn"t pick him the more madder he will get(If he can get any madder)

Jens would have got a chance if he had stayed patient, all he had to do was bide his time but now he will have to hope he can be first choice elsewhere. Think it is a blow for him and a huge blow for Arsenal to lose a keeper of Jen's ability but like Anelka, if he is upsetting the team then he is not welcome :(

At least Jens was on the bench tonight. I didn't think he'd even do that.

I want Jens back

He didn't even warm up tonight which shows that he is very pissed off about being there & if Wenger said go into the Sheff Utd game he would still be pissed off despite him even getting a match

I don't want him to leave but it's going to happen def at the end of the season

Ok, given he played on the bench, can we assume the media misquoted him about the threatening the manager?
