He kept sending me notes that claimed that money was tight and that he would not break his rigid present-buying budget. He said that he was making something for me instead of buying it, and that meant it would take a bit longer to finish. I think some of the materials he was using were being sourced from France... To be honest, I'm just fed up of his lies now. I know for a fact that he's loaded, but he will never splash the cash on me. He never used to be like this... :(
