Should I fly to america and punch usmartin in the face?

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

Should I?

Unlike many (mainly the rose-tinters) he doesn't resort to being abusive to people that take a different line to him. I don't agree with much of what he says but makes his points well and whether you agree with him or not, he seems passionate about the Club.
 You are kidding, right?

Here is a selection of insults and abuse he dished out to various people, on one single thread, a couple of weeks ago.....

deluded
avoiding reality
apologists for the board
bizarre reasoning
trying to impose editorial control
claiming to be a victim
obsessive compulsive psychological problem
shameful actions
shameless deviousness
naked attempt to censor
inaccuracy and falsehood
shameless liar
inaccurate misrepresentation
pathetic cowardice
lack of courage
almost like racists
unstable

Most people on here are content to call each other *word censored* during disagreements.

I do not know what you have been reading but he was very personally abusive to people who disagreed with his views, without provocation, especially myself and Olgit.

That rudeness, and his twisting the words of others posts, is why a load of posters from here, (G88ner, STG, LDB, AA23Northbank amongst many others) got into arguments with him and thought he was out of order.

He went offline and came back and has been much better, though at times has blurred the boundaries between discussing Arsenal and turning it into accusations of other posters lying or deliberately twisting facts.

In reality it is nothing so complicated, it is just different views.

I just accept that he is convinced something has gone on with the board and feels determined to tell us about it frequently and at great length.
His arguments have veered into conspiracy theories that I consider so far fetched as to no longer be worth discussing.

Would not be my choice of a way to spend my life but if he wants to waste his life posting on here over and over about the same subject it is up to him!

martin's bug bear just happens to be the board, he could condense his posts into less then 127,500 words granted but...not up for kicking his head in or barring him
The main problem I have is, if your not prepared to accept his point of view then you are deluded or ignoring the "facts" or some other insult. He doesn't listen and debate, he just posts essays then attacks the people he is "debating" with.
Of course he is going to act that way, after all he's an American and that is why most of the world hate the fuckers 8)

Tell you what ,Il even get someone drive you from JFK right up 1-95 to Hartford CT and film the event !

But there's as much chance of that happening as Arsenal winning the Champions League this Season !

Don't start making the leap between the cyber world and the real one 1991 'cos it's nasty out there in real time.
Red action could see you off !
