As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Words fail me, they really do. We are in such a good position, why would you take the chance? You can almost guarantee that one of our CB's will be injured the day after the transfer window closes and we'll be left with the bumbling Squillaci to cost us trophies.
Because his bosses are too busy looking at profits to care to suggest he do anything differently?
Just a thought, but I would guess a trophy winning club would be slightly more valuable than a non-trophy winning club. If profit was the only motive.
I think the real answer is to look at the share price since 2006. It has only dropped significantly at one point - during the the global economic crisis when almost every company's value suffered.
The fact is why invest in winning silverware when you don't have to to get the sahre pricwe moving upward? And so long as a top-four place is safe and we fill the ground that will keep the share price up where iyt is, so again why should the supporters desire to see us invest a bit more to achieve a bit more on the pitch matter? Especially since we seem often unwilling to make that clear to the club and to trust them without exception?
