i Have to say Im not that bothered about Grey and Keys going, but it does stink of double standards.

I mean shouldnt LOOSE WOMEN be taken off the air???? That show is just an hour or however long it is of women being sexist.

It is PC gone mad!!!!!

Although as far as Grey is concerned, he was set up big time. He announces a few weeks back he's going to sue the news of the world for tapping his phone. And all of a sudden news corp seem to do everything in their power to get him sacked. Dont fuck with murdoch eh.

I think the proprietors and CEOs of BSkyB have put forth their own petition to Andy Gray to stop his phone tapping case against their sister newspaper.

I've seen this argument on few forums and it's totally wide of the mark, for birds on Loose Women are actually paid to slag men off (clue is in the title)...

For those who complain about unfair treatment of Gray and Keys by mr Murdoch...well that's what happens when you get in bed with the devil

Well playing with a magic pen and saying whether something is offside or not is hardly Garry Bushell-esque jumping into bed with Murdoch.

And of course the aforementioned Mr Bushell would have got a payrise from Murdoch if he asked a 'fit young bird' to tuck him in while on air, let alone sacked for doing it off air, such is the hypocrisy.

Disagree with this point. The argument is over sexism. Mainly sexism in the workplace, its not really about sport or football. Sexism is sexism in whatever form it comes in. Loose Women is a sexist show, yet because its a womens show it becomes acceptable. I dot buy the "you know what your getting" when you tune in with these type of shows, as if that somehow makes it ok for them to get away with it. Remeber the Grey/Keys incidents were off air, so the viewer wasnt subjected to there sexism in the same way men are on a daily basis in the loose women show.

How many man or women can honestly say if all their conversations were recorded from down the pub or on the terraces or even at work, that certain things they say may come across sexist or crass??? If we were all subject to what grey has been, how many would honestly still be in their job???

I mean the touchline guy was suspended for calling her "a looker", thats a compliment isnt it???

No ugly middle aged male columnists like Garry Bushell making smutty inneudos and virtually rating female TV personalities on their looks?

Some female Sky Sports presenters of the age range of Gray, Keys and Stelling and roughly the same level of attractiveness then?

Or maybe if a presenter makes a smutty innuendo to a young female presenter and you consider it a sacking offence, not waiting a month later until he's rightly suing you for tapping his phone?
