Re: finally got the hump
Suarez is a good player, but I don't think Liverpool fans are in much of a position to laugh at the Arsenal at the minute, they'll struggle to qualify for the Europa League this season. If you were to make a combined Liverpool and Arsenal side, I reckon you'd maybe have 4 Liverpool players in it and 7 Arsenal, and the Arsenal have vastly superior strength in depth, so overall there isnt much for them to gloat aboutCraigd86 wrote:after always thinkg arsenal may just buy some world class player ive finally realised it is not gonna happen liverpool have now brought suarez for £22 million and we cant even be arsed to attempt to sign given who we should have brought last year ive now got the hump especially as my father and brother support liverpool

Went to few shows even before they hit really big and the shows were awesome. Not my favorite band but a firned of mine who played in some funk bands dragged me along and I've been grateful ever since.I Hate Hleb wrote:They used to be my favourite group in the early 80's.And before someone asks: no, I'm not talking out the side of my neck!!

Then I went to College in L.A. and found myself at clubs watching Black Flag and Suicidal Tendencies and the Dead Kennedys, Fear and X and stuff
I don't think we should be losing too much sleep over this. Would the guy have been a 1st team regular? Ahead of RVP, Chamakh, Nasri and (controversial) Walcott? Doubt it. He would have added some depth to the squad and given us another option but somewhat expensive in the process. However much money you have to spend I think £22m players have to be nailed on first teamers or they cause problems within the squad as they have a naturally very high profile and he wouldn't have been that here.
Shame the Mousers are getting their act sorted, though.

Interesting question - but I think the answer is yes as second or third choice striker - Walcott might be ahead of him except the manager inists on playing him wide which is not suited to his strengths. Chamakh would no longer be ahead of him if his recent lack of regular play is any indicator I'm afraid.djhdjh wrote:I don't think we should be losing too much sleep over this. I just also think that this is the residue of not factoring in the transfer market for several years running excapt as a seller, and from that angle then I agree not competing for Suarez seems a bigger deal than he may actually be.
And I think your last sentence may be even more worrying than anything else.
