The January sales

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I agree with you augie, if we are to splash the cash then let it be on a top quality keeper. Gianluigi Buffon of Juve is a top class keeper, though I am sure he would still command a top top price. He would not be cup tied though.

When Kolo heads for the african nations cup we may struggle and Gallas is on form because the team is.
It goes against the grain but I would pay whatever it costs to get Richards from Citeh plus he wants to join us!

Seriously Bergkamp95 you need to come out of that wonderland that you are living in if you think robert green is good enough for The Arsenal - I think I'd even prefer almunia to him and that takes some doing. Again most of these suggestions seem to be cheap options or french options - sorry I just want a top keeper regardless of the cost because if we have akk this money then we should spend it WHEN there is an absolute need to do so and I believe this situation merits it. Micah Richards would be a nice new year present but we are deluding ourselves if we think (a) citeeh will let him leave & (b) that we will be prepared to outbid manure & chelski should that happen

Also did I not read somewhere that Micah Richards is a Gooner at heart, great football, decent wage plus the added bonus of playing for his childhood team might just sway it 8)

Lets hope Micah ask SWP for advice cos I am sure if SWP could choose his time again he would be playing for us 8)

Micah looks like he has some loyalty and I believe he will stay at city for at least this year

We never really sign superstars so I agree with that point. The only piece of business in January I want to see is whatever Arsene wants. But personally I reckon Jens will be on the way.

I think after seeing Micah Richards performance against the Chav's yesterday we may as well stick with the Big Swiss cheese

Why do you all put Kaka on your wishlists?

I don't think he'd even fit into our team.
