I actually love Bendtner- he has made my day immeasurably more amusing! He doesn't mention 50k anywhere in the quotes, but admitting that he genuinely thinks he is one of the best strikers in the world is fucking quality, he's not even as good as Chamakh

As I've said before, I'd take him at Sunderland but fuck me, one of the best in the world

Must admit, I quite like outrageously cocky players, but generally they are cocky because they're fucking good and they know it, I like Bendtner just because he is so blatantly never going to be any better than an Arsenal squad player in yet he acts as if he wouldn't be surprised if Barcelona offered you Â£20m + David Villa. One of these days Arsene will sell him and his agent will say "the whites want you Bendtner lad", and he'll go straight onto google to find the best flights to Madrid, start planning his squad number, decide how many hundreds of thousands he should ask for, and then the 15:37 bus to Bolton will arrive and he'll be told to fuck off

Poor lads going to be gutted when it eventually dawns on him that (whisper it), he's not very good

If fans stopped going to games, & buying shirts and toasters that put the logo on the bread then yes wages would have to come down.

its simple supply and demand, if the clubs earn millions they can spend millions if they dont earn it they cant spend it. Nick B wouldnt get 5k at blackpool, and thats because they couldnt afford 50. If they could no doubt they would pay him it.

Ive just moved from Aus - same job however i am earning 20k less per year here because the company in aus i worked for earns much much more.

plus if my employer wanted to pay me more, i wouldnt say no. would anyone??

Saying all this, he isnt the best striker in the world and never will be..........
