As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Harlow Orient? Romford Orient? Basildon Orient?
I don't really get the big deal with all this. Are all Leyton Orient fans now going to start supporting West Ham instead then? Even if that were the case, the two probably wouldn't both play at home on the same day, so fans won't even have to choose between the two.
Also, in the 1800s, I could understand that local clubs would be worried about other clubs moving in nearby as it may dilute their fanbase. But, hello - it's 2011, and there's these things we call cars, trains and buses which move people around the country. It's not as if people living in East London were physically incapable of going to any club other than Orient before now if they'd so desired.

Because tis difficult enough at the moment withot this.
Because part of the plan is to offer cheap tickets, family tickets and special school deals, which will probably be closer to affecting orient than what west ham offer now.

Good, if the vermin want a new stadium let them build one with their own money....see how they cope with a debt of a ground and 'Arry not being able to chuck together whoever is available to buy at the time
The Olympic Legacy lot were surely always likely to favour West Ham. They were hardly going to support a legacy that involved ripping the whole thing up and starting again.
Think Boris will be looking at this from a very different angle, and isn't it him that has the final decision? This could still run and run !
It's a win-win for us. If they had to go Stratford it would be too fucking funny, there's decades worth of banter & abuse in that alone. As one Hammer had commented on some site the other day, they're so desperate to catch The Arsenal that they'd "sell out their history in the blink of an eye"
And if they don't move, this happens...

If they move it will be the end of the NLD
If they don't move, they won't recover from their "project".
If they moved, we'll still hate the crunts, but Wetspam will give them grief too. Will still be a derby to me FOYS
