Felt like the whole team was waiting for aa23 to win the game for them on his own.

A 25 man Arsenal squad should have the players to beat a League One side, no matter which of them are chosen to play. There seems to be no leadership, motivation, vision, heart or desire to put a game to bed with that lot in the B Team. They all need a kick up the arse tbh.

end of the day its 11 men v 11 men, one side are overpaid squad players and the otherside are players playing in the biggest game of their careers.

You can only judge our squad against others in the league. We have an excellent squad, overall.

We have 12-13 excellent players, the rest are piss poor. Don't expect 25 world class players but ramsey and lansbury should be recalled. A top quality defensive midfielder and/or centre back would do us the world of good too.

we should have gone for an experienced def mid
Senna is on the bench for Villareal half the time I knwo we don't offer more than 1year to players over 30 but we could have paid a loan fee with an option to buy or something along those lines...

thing is we havent
and now we just need to get 100% behind what we have like we did v Toffees and Barca

didn't that lot all play at St James Park when we won in th CarlingCup?
that was a great result
as was our win in Belgrade - Squillaci was very good that day
Rosicky was quality v Blackpool
most of them played at Molineux as well

it's inevitable players are less revved up for lower div opposition
performance wasn't good enough
we have a 2nd chance to make up for it

better to draw @Brisbane rd than v Stoke...

He did start strong, but he's back to looking like a player who's fading off. I still think TRo should be at a smaller club now, for his own sake.

The gap between our best XI and second-string is like an A-team and a C-team. Players like Bendtner, Denilson, Rosicky, they're not outstanding players but they perform even worse when put together - they completely lack chemistry and look like a mid/low table Prem side.

rosicky is the definition of mediocre . playing well at home against a ten man blackpool really doesn't justify him being in our team. needs to be sold along with barry, denilson and eboue :banghead:

4 times this lot have played against lower league opposition, 4 times they've played poorly.

Only because we've only had lower league opposition and even then nasri and cesc had to rescue us.

If Squillaci or Denilson play against Barcelona then we've got no chance.
