WEST BROM AWAY. CAN IT GET ANY WORSE?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Its an attempt to keep all the, who's got a ticket, which train, what boozer? stuff in one thread and the football stuff in another. Has sort of worked for the last few games.

thats for domestic cup games as pl rules dont allow players to play against there parent club as far as i know.

Looks like we're gonna have to, would rather have Squillaci in than Dumb and Dumber (Denilson and Diaby) :banghead:

Manuel, Sagna, Clichy, Kos, Squillaci, Fabregas, Wilshere, Song (Ramsey to come in if either aren't fit), Nasri, Arshavin/Walcott, RVP

If he’s back I’d rather play Song at CB & put Ramsey in midfield, than let Squillaci infect the rest of our defence with the lergies again. Admittedly a Wilshere/Ramsey defensive axis in midfield might be a bit too attack-minded & physically lightweight but it’s still the lesser of 2 evils.

Not one post has mentioned Roy Hodgson yet.

Despite what happened at Anfield, Woy is a decent manager and I firmly believe that he'll be able to out-think Wenger tactically.

With that in mind, and our injuries, and our complete lack of bottle when the pressure is on I can see a very difficult 90 minutes.

1-1 or 2-1 to WBA :banghead: :banghead:

I think we’ll win but yeah, Woy will def be a factor. Di Matteo was doing a good job but his WBA would have been much more tailor-made for us - despite the home result - than Hodgson’s. 5-man midfield, two solid banks to try & break down, hitting us on the counter with Jerome Thomas & probably Odemwhatshisface either up front or on the other flank, with the poor man’s Fashanu Fortune having the game of his life bullying our CB’s. Brunt’s delivery will probably cause us grief as well. Still think we’ll get the win but it might not be a fun ride.

I presume all of:

------- Almunia
Squillaci --- Koscielny
---Denilson---Diaby
-----------------------
Rosicky---------------

Will play? Sorry but that is relegation material right there. Would be happy with a draw.
