As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

USM is salivating at the prospect
Not necessarily - depends very much on who that would be. Honestly think right now if its Stan Kroenke we may be looking at a debt leveraged takeover which no one who genuinely cares about this club could want.
It's almost eight over there - it would have to be something very big for things to go up on the website now though. Hope this wasn't just b.s.
Obviously all those who for some reason think that'll be the end of the world and that we 'don't want his sort' need not bother turning up. They'll be too busy in the middle of an 8 year (and counting) daydream that Chelsea are about to go to the wall and that good old UEFA's financial play will protect Lord Wenger and all that live in Moralhighgroundsville

And I'm not sure that moralhighgroundsville isn't just another suburb of Spinopolis deep inside Hiddagendashire

Yeah my guess is Usmanov getting invited onto the Board - maybe.
BTW that alone would not necessarily be good news but Usmanov could still be outvoted then by the rest of the Board on needed financial policy changes. Many people thought that when Stan Kroenke was welcomed aboard some needed money would be going into the football and that has not happened still.
If nothing else changes other than Mr. Usmanov having a seat in the Board Room and Director's Box, than this would be completely meaningless really. Not trying to be negative but we can't let anyone fool us into thinking everything is changing when it may not be.

Don't normally post stuff like this (as you tend to get slaughtered for BS) but my cousin was talking to David Dein a an airport last weekend and was moaning to him about how we need new signings. Dein tapped his nose as though to say watch this space.
Dein then left with Usmanov when the lardarse arrived.
Maybe relevant - who knows? Right you lot, unload your vitriol on me now!
