Actually this thread was a reply to Flash who called me ahypocrite aboiut thread hi-jacking when he and threee or four others are clearly engaged in that right now in one of my threads.

I could have replied there but that would only enable their efforts further to push the thread off-topic. I also could have replied by PM but sensed I would be accused of being afraid tto answer publically to that charge.

I agree its persoanl on all sides on this but that is why the mods should deal with that behvior. If they stopped it I wouild have no reason to get personal about it would I?

The fun and banter is fine but don't ket it obsicure the reality. there is a time and place for everything - including the banter - and the tongue too Jayson (though not necessarily yours, no offense, but I do like the fmale variety).

I just feel as though there is no need for forcing censorship on the forum by hi-jacking threads and then hiding behind a willfully false equivalency to justify it. I think this should be recognized for what it is and dealt with so we can get back to when appropriate serious discussion, schoolboy fun and banter, and of course that - ideally female (sorry) - tongue....

I should have been clearer. I would have preferred it remain personal as in between myselkf and Flash but had I done that as I say either I would have aidded to hi-jacking my own thread or B been accused of being afraid to answer his point publically.

I'm all for freedon of speech and the mods not going overboard on the discipline- it's only a forum after all, and becsides probably keeps me out of dutch as much as anyone

However I think that there shouldn't be tolerance of people solely interfering withother people exchanigning views because they don't want to have them exchanged or read about them being exchanged or think about reading them being exchanged. And hiiding behind a false moral equivalency only makes their conduct worse fiankly.

And I am not the bad guy for pointing this out. It is not my fault that the reluctance to clerify the difference between percieved and actual hi-jacking excuses this conduct unintentionally or even intentionally perhaps - I don't have any way of knowing for sure. But its not my fault for pointing that out.
