You may be surprised to hear that in my version of the game Abou Diaby wins the European Footballer of the Year every season.....
I quite enjoy being able to refer to players and managers by 'nicknames' in the game.
Having Captain Chav, the GIC and Sir Red Nose makes the game far more amusing.
I was watching my 10 year old play it yesterday and when he is managing Arsenal and it comes to the Press Conference section he frequently adds comments in the box at the bottom such as "he is a winner", "great intelligence", "mental strength" etc
Even he's worked out the code of Arseneballs. Look out for him in about 8 years on here - SteveO Junior - another miserable bugger in the making.

Last time I played Football Manager was as Bristol Rovers, Wenger retired after two seasons, Pat Rice then promptly won the League and Champions League
