Good Riddance, Denilson makes transfer request.

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Just making a call to the taxi firm to take him to the aiport.....

Bye bye son. Another of Arsene's youth "world beaters" gone on to a dazzling career elsewhere.

I expect to see him 'training with the club' when he's 33 after a journeyman career of the lower reaches of the Spanish and Italian leagues....

As risk of repeating myself, Denilson didn't buy himself for Arsenal, didn't pick himself for Arsenal and didn't pay himself massive wages to play for Arsenal...He is useless and can't go quickly enough as far as Im concerned and he can take a lot more with him. Would love to see him in an Old Firm Game as someone suggested..One game and he would want another transfer.

Yep as said above - one of Wenger's future world beaters signed on a long term deal at wages higher than any other club in Europe would be prepared to pay such a mediocre player. Vela, Bendtner, Eboue and co. will all struggle to find top clubs willing to pay their over inflated wages.

A bit like when you’ve been going out with a girl well above your league and she dumps you, then you come out with some shit to all your mates like “she was a smelly whore anywayâ€

But there is a serious point here - this goes to show how our players feel utterly un-responsible for the failings of the team. If shit like denilson thinks its everyone elses fault then what hope do we have?

Culture at the club stinks like shit, no team spirit, no fighting for the team or standing up and being counted for the failings of the team. Its all someone else's fault.

Rapidly losing my patience with Wenger's Arsenal. He's fighting just to keep it getting any worse. Can the AKBs really look themselves in the mirror and say thats what they want for Arsenal? Bit of ambition required.

Will be shocked if he goes. I fully expect Wenger to persuade him to stay

Pardon my lack of professionalism on this one, but

Good, fuck off you twat. Talking shit like that when you don't contribute fucking anything to the team, the balls on this guy. What are you whining about anyway, you were the one with the big asshole smile on your face while getting your losers medal at the Carling Cup.

Hope you enjoy all your success at Espanyol or whatever B-rate team takes you.

May I nominate the recent Sunderland game, where under no pressure at all he decided to pass the ball out for a corner :?
