This would also mean that on any given Saturday or Sunday I could go into my local pub or social club and watch football on the telly rather than
watch public schoolboys molesting each other while their inbred cousins watching in the bar grunt and pick pork scratchings out of their beards.
Also, why do rugby supporters always look like they have never washed?

It's brutal living here in Dublin when there is rugby on ,the bandwagon wheels are creaking. Today Leinster play in a European Cup Final in Cardiff.. Leinster are not a club, they are a franchise. Rugby people here call them a province. Leinster is one of the four provinces of Ireland but the use of the name for rugby is just a cynical ploy to get support. They are a Dublin 4 club and are not repersentitive of the whole province. Then I don't believe that Ireland Rugby team repersents the whole of Ireland, as much as working class Irish people use the "we" word in relation to Irish rugby they may feel part of it but they will never belong to it.
AS a game it has nothing, no skill no excitement and no feeling. It is about being there on the day, being boorish and superior. I know these comments will annoy a lot of Irish people but I have heard the comments from Rugger people about football and the GAA and believe me they wouldn't piss on us if we were on fire.

Rugby is a 'sport' played by toffee nosed tossers and watched by non committed Management W*****S.
Most dip in for 6 Nations (otherwise known as the rugby world cup as there are only ever a maximum of 6 nations who can possibly win the 'world cup') or hugely important cup finals!!
I work for Aviva and we were all issued with out free desk calenders in Jan which depicted Rugby games on each page. Mine hit the bin within seconds and was replaced by my gooner calender.
Rugger buggers also think its original to sing dirty ditties in the pub whilst drinking weak Bitter which they think is a proper mans drink (like their sport). Most couldn't even string 3 words together after a couple of Stellas.
Easily spotted on the trains on international days by the Brown shoes, Cotton trader Tops and Barbour jackets.
What was I doing when England won the 6 nations/ World Cup.... I was playing tiddliwinks with my son and hoping the Aussies would win it as I knew it would lead to a couple of years of the BBC trying to convince us that Rugby was the next gig thing.
In case you haven't noticed I despise Rugby and all that surrounds it.
It will forever be a minority sport followed by Posh Knobs.
Sarries, Quins my Arse!!!

Can't believe the bad deal rugby is getting........
It's a decent sport to play, and I can think of nothing better than an all day session watching a couple of 6 Nations Games. The banter is good and you pretty much can guarantee there won't be a punch up. As for toffs and snobs following the game, are you sure you're not referring to our very own Emirates?
Seriously, we have more toff pricks following us than the average rugby side. FACT.

6 Nations Days are the pits if you're a footy fan.
Was in Cov last year when the gooners were at Wolves I think . Went into a pub that advertised that it showed premier footy and an England Egg chasing match (not even 6 Nations) was on . No one apart from the Bar man was watching it and there were about 10 people there wanting the footy on. Ba rman would not budge so we had to wait our turn.
Tossers to a man!!!!
All togther now ' 4 and 20 virgins......'
Oh they're so rude.
Grow up you sheltered public school Geeks.
Rugby played by those who are not skillful enough to play football (to quot Alan Brazil , who may be a complete dick but he's right on this one)!!

Yes Flash!
Saracens being full of South Africans and possibly relocating down near me I follow them to some extent as well, guess I'm a bit of a bandwagon jumper though!
Went to Wembley once or twice to watch em as schools down here get free tickets to the rugby when they play there, that's always a good laugh.

Been to Vicarage Road a few times over the years a day out at rugby is a good laugh with plenty of drinking and because i dont care as much about them as much as i do Arsenal i can relax and enjoy the game and not end up biting my nails down to nothing

Yeah I've only been to Vicarage Road for Chelsea-Watford (Wilkins was in charge as temp), should get down for the rugby sometime.
