Transfer Rumours Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Don’t see the point in making new threads all the time.
We dont need a transfer sticky or any transfer rumour thread...... WE ARENT SIGNING ANYBODY!!! (unless they are 16 or below)

Dont get your hopes up mate
I think the chances of signing somebody are pretty good considering the amount of players we have queing up to jump ship 8)
they wont leave they are angling for improved contracts
Interesting tactic from denilson. Kinda like bin laden putting a gun to his head in his last moments and saying "i'll do it, dont think i wont!"
Who in their right mind thinks he'll hit the target in all fairness

Benzema has one year left on his contract according to reports yesterday, they reckon he could go on the 'cheap' due to the contract. That might interest Wenger more!

I've read those reports also, regarding him having 1 year left. How the heck could he have 1 year left if he signed a six year deal in 2009

Newcastle have released him from his contract.

As much as a *word censored* that he is , I would have in the squad.

Just not offering him an extension next season. Still has a year left.

He wanted a 5 year contract and was willing to take a pay cut. The boy wants to play football.

Get him to sign on the dotted line :barscarf:

Ditto, good player, bit of a headcase but heyho, good passer of the ball also and moves it on quickly always looking at counter attacking fast which would make a welcome change nowadays.

He's proved his worth over the course of this season. He was the best delivery from set pieces (created the most goals and chances this season). He's a hard-working midfielder. Two things we lack.

He can provide us with a good plan b, which is something we fail to do. Ok it's Joey Barton, but hey he's got talent and we got a bunch of non-trying pussies. At least that c*nt is willing to take a pay cut to play for the club he's contracted to.
