Can I have a couple of prayers?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Don't despair at little one being in there. It's the best place to be and will make it all the more special when he comes home.
I just want to echo spuddy's message.
ICU really do wonders. It looks more severe due to the machines and tubes needed especially considering the size of your child.
Its the best place for him and will spare a thought for him....I'll also raise a glass for him at lunch

Know I'm being pedantic but very few premature babies have significantly lowered growth, they catch up over time, for example I'm 6' at 16 whereas I was the shortest among people i knew by a mile at 9/10.

All the best of luck, 5. I'll say a prayer for the bambino.

My son Jack was born 7 weeks premature and spent the first 3 weeks of his life in intensive care. He nearly died on us at one stage but he fought hard and he got through it and is now a perfectly healthy 6 year old Gooner. You'd be amazed how tough and resilient babies can be and how much the nurses and docs can do for them nowdays.

Keep your chin up mate.

Will say a prayer for Nr.4 and the rest of the family, mate.

Can't say I understood half of what you said, but I got the main and most important points.

Of all the people to tell me about my height! Like a fucking Lewes fan lecturing me on the CL away goals rule!

That's actually happened to me, after the Braga home game.

Sorry to hear that news Number 5 and like everyone wish the young fella all the best. Similarly, I hope you, the mrs and the rest of your family get through this traumatic time soon and come out of it stronger.

Just wanted to say,

You are all fucking legendary dudes. 8)

Something must have worked as when I went up today his blood work came back showing no signs of infection so he's off the antibiotics and just needs the oxygen now. His feed has increased and they say he's looking really good. He'll still be in a while yet but the power of positive thinking and prayer looks like a pretty fucking lethal combination.

Shocking to see many similar stories, I wouldn't want anyone to experience something like it.
