Wise words from all.
I do not actually know if Nasri will leave, for all the hoo-ha in the papers it might just be an agent angling for more cash?
Same with some of our so called transfer targets.
Couple of years ago on here Forum members listed every transfer link we could find during the summer.
101 players were linked.
We signed 5, I think only one of them had been mentioned in the papers prior to signing.
We all know that a clear-out is needed and some more physically tough players bought, so if we do sell Cesc, then hopefully the cash will help bring in much needed new players.
And good luck finding a job.

We know Wenger doesn't buy British, the Euro window doesn't open for 3 weeks yet so our signings aren't likely for a month at least. If we were to go for 'big' signings, I would expect Wenger to go for Sakho, Hazard, Willan and the like, again, not available at the moment but the wheels may be in motion.
Losing Clichy is no loss whatsoever, he is a liability. Bad management to let his contract go this far but it's not the first time Arsenal have done it.
Losing players who don't want to play for us is a blow but we'll move on, and if Cesc and Nasri do go, citing lack of ambition, there can be no doubt that Wenger and the club will know exactly what needs to be done or face the consequences.
Arsenal desperately need new blood and if 5 players left and 5 new ones come in, bloody great!! I hope that we do make a move for Cahill or Samba but that remains to be seen. In the meantime, we may have to sit back and watch others make signings but it doesn't mean that we won't have ours in place before we fly off to make some Chinese money!!
The transfer window in europe may not open until july 1st but that isnt stopping some of the biggest clubs out there negotiating deals has it ? Neuer has signed for bayern, the turkish guy from dortmund has signed for madrid. inter were in heavy negotiations with udinese for sanchez so why the fcuk are we waiting for some imaginary fcuking window to open ? I dont give a flying fcuk if you cant actually register the paperwork with the league until july 1st cos it still doesnt stop you having the contracts agreed and signed. People are using the "plenty of time" argument as an excuse for our lack of activity to this point and while I agree that there is plenty of time remaining it should also be noted the two of our big rivals (mancs and mousers) are being very pro-active in a bid to improve. Another very valid reason for the concerns raised is that wenger has history of this type of behaviour........wait until late in the transfer window, try and save a pound here and there only to discover that all the better players are no longer available and clubs do not want to sell players cos it doesnt leave them enough time to bring in their replacements

Tbh I find it really depressing to hear/read that wenger made last minute contact with friedel and jones in a bid to sign them for us when really if he was interested in signing them then he should not have left it so fcuking late

I believe that the uptightness in question is a legacy of many years, many transfer windows of little or no action, or action inwards only in relation to action out.
Wenger needs to leave, then I believe everyone will start feeling better again.

Just remember, 6-7 bad years is pretty hard to deal with, but in the context of our beautiful club of 100+ years of history, it's just a bad spell. We'll be back eventually, whether it's under AW soon or someone else later. The best way to combat the corporatisation* of the club is to continue to support the team in the community with the other faithful like us. So keep your head up.
